For the second year in a row I made some Halloween themed bumpers for a friend’s film society, Channel M. Last year I made a simple 10-second 3D scene inspired by the blood elevator from The Shining.

This year I stepped it up and made four whole videos, 40 seconds each. I used free stock footage from Pexels, more than half of it from cottonbro studio. Music came from Pixabay and Freesound.org, as well as sounds from the latter.

These were a ton of fun to make after a few weeks working on a corporate video. Each took roughly a day to make and let me explore different techniques and aesthetics.
