Today was my second day back at Bell, my first day actually working. Yesterday during the refresher training day I sketched up a logo for the Is A sites, as well as some motifs for Slutniks. When I got home I started building the Is A logo in vector format. Today I sketched up the Dear Burger logo. Unfortunately the fries look awful, so I'll have to redo them.
I've been thinking of learning ASL for a few days now, and have thought about it many times in the past. On a whim today I looked it up and found dDeaf World which proves to be an excellent resource for starting to learn ASL. Laura and I both started trying it immediately, but I had to leave for work soon after. Half of my shift today was spent learning ASL and signing at co-workers. The site works very well on my phone, if not better than it does on my computer, so I'll likely continue to learn it at work. By the end of the summer Laura and I may very well be fluent. Another, arguably much better resource is Signing Savvy, but that site works on a paid subscription basis, with limited free usage.
